It’s no surprise that the editorial staff of Ballista Magazine has a penchant for all things nautical — our roots on the East and Third Coasts (Boston and Chicago), coupled with our love of design, inevitably draws us to the sleek and powerful forms of luxury watercraft. Today’s posts follows on the heels of prior features of nautical designers Baglietto Design and Willem Nieland: Gray Design of Sweden.
Founded by its namesake Eduard Gray, this Swedish design company is diversified into four key divisions: yachts, supercars, power & energy, and design divisions — this allows Gray to provide services in the design, manufacture, and systems integration in any of these four areas. The company also has an esteemed list of collaborators and partners that ensure the delivery of a vehicle that meets and exceeds your expectations. There’s not really much left to say about the design — I think the images and renderings speak for themselves.
For more of Gray’s sensationally sexy designs, make sure to check out the firm’s website, Facebook page, and Twitter feed. We should let you all know that as a token of his appreciation for this feature, Mr. Gray has agreed to give both of our editors whichever watercraft we prefer. Josh went with the Sovereign and I went with the smaller-but-sleeker Strand Craft 166 so you can find us trolling around in our native waterways shortly…if only…
