Clare O’Reilly is a multi-discipline designer with 4 years experience and an ambitious approach to design work. Clare is a self-proclaimed admirer of “children’s boutique design, stop motion animation, vintage children’s books, mid-century design, nature and anything with a cheery disposition.” With that in mind it is not surprising that her work exhibits a carefree nostalgia, while maintaining a modern aesthetic.
Clare graduated with an honors bachelor’s degree in Fashion Marketing in 2006. She received the Brand Development Award for her final student project; a collection of plush characters, merchandise, and animation. After graduation, Ms. O’Reilly was employed as a designer at New Designers and later moved to Skew, a brand development agency in London. At Skew, Clare worked closely with Aardman, Nickeleodeon, ITV, BBC, and HIT Entertainment, and she rose to the position of Lead Designer during her three years with the agency. Claire is now focusing on the creative relationships she developed while working on freelance projects.
Clare’s skillfully incorporates pattern, vibrant colors, and whimsy into all of her work. The gallery below is a mere sampling of this creative talent’s capabilities. To see additional work from Clare O’Reilly visit her website, and follow her musings on Twitter @clare_oreilly.
